‘Indonesia Flight’ Lets You Book Domestic Tickets on Android

Indonesian startup developer Ticket Solutions has created an Android app called “Indonesia Flight” which enables its users to compare and book domestic flights in real time. This is the first Android-based application created by using the online ticket booking platform Tiket’s API which we talked about a couple of weeks ago.

The application has already gathered more than 5,000 users since its release on Google Play ten days ago. Marcella Einsteins of Ticket Solutions explained via press release:

There are numerous other applications that can only look for flight schedules, but there are not many that can book airline tickets in real time and with instant confirmation, even more so with the ability to compare prices from one airline with another.

With Indonesia Flight, users can compare prices from five domestic airlines: Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Batavia Air, Sriwijaya Air, and Citilink. The planned Merpati Air services is unavailable at the moment because the airline had just changed its system a few weeks earlier.

Users can make their payments with online payment KlikBCA and bank transfers from Mandiri Bank and BCA. Indonesia Flight plans to provide credit card payment options in near future. Interestingly, the Android application is created by two developers in space of just one week and this is just one of the growing list of applications that are using Tiket’s API which offers generous commission.
