India-based 3one4 Capital, a VC firm focused on early-stage tech investments, has raised US$200 million for its fourth fund within two and a half months, TechCrunch reported.

The oversubscribed fund was capped at US$200 million to maintain a “lean and disciplined approach.” It has raised half of the capital from Indian investors, including major banks and mutual fund operators.

Brothers Pranav and Siddarth Pai established 3one4 Capital in 2016. It focuses on early-stage investments in sectors such as direct-to-consumer tech, fintech, deeptech, SaaS, and enterprise automation.

With US$750 million in assets under management, the firm has invested in companies like Darwinbox, Open, Licious, and Koo. In 2019, 3one4 closed two new funds: an opportunity fund and a seed fund with total commitments of US$56 million and US$6.5 million, respectively.
