In brief: Indian digital payments startup PayMate banks $25m from Visa, others
- Indian digital payment solutions provider PayMate has banked US$25 million in a series D round from Visa, Recruit Strategic Partners, and Brand Capital, Entrackr reported.
- Existing investor Mayfair 101 also participated in the round, which is set to be completed by the next two months.
- The startup plans to use the new funds to drive growth and expand its business overseas.
- Earlier this year, it announced plans to enter international markets such as the Middle East, Africa, and central and eastern Europe, in partnership with Visa.
