Hello readers,

When I saw that five out of the six M&As that happened this week came from India, I checked back on our past data and realized that throughout the entire month of February, India had seen an M&A take place every single week.

In fact, out of the 18 M&As that took place this month, 12 of them involved Indian companies. On top of that, a third of the deals happened in the edtech sector.

Granted, February is a short month, but those are still notable numbers, at least in my book. So I’m curious to see how this M&A spree will affect the Indian innovation ecosystem – especially its edtech scene – in the months to come.

You can find all of the other important investment deals that happened in the last few days in our weekly funding news wrap-up.

Let’s dive into the biggest deals and M&As that recently took place.
