Singaporean fintech firm MatchMove gets $100m funding boost from US investor
“Fintech company MatchMove is receiving a US$100 million strategic investment from US-headquartered IT services group Nityo Infotech at a US$600 million post-money valuation, making Nityo the startup’s largest shareholder,” Business Times reported.
Details:
- Nityo will make the investment into through its corporate venture arm Karma Free Capital, which has a US$250 million fund.
- The deal gives MatchMove a staffing resource boost while gaining access to more clients and markets.
Context:
- MatchMove hit a valuation of US$338 million last year after raising US$21 million in funding.
- Headquartered in the US, Nityo’s portfolio includes infrastructure management services, outsourcing, and system integration. It is present in more than 30 countries, including six in Southeast Asia.
