To date, Foonie has raised US$17.5 million for the game. That figure includes US$3 million in pre-seed investment and US$4.5 million from NFT sales.
Following the close of the seed round, Foonie will begin private and community investment rounds to raise another US$10.7 million and prepare for its global launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
Apeiron will come with a card-based action-adventure combat system and a god game simulation gameplay, inspired by games like Populous and Black & White. In the god mode, players will play as a godling – a newborn god – and use its powers to help or smite the Doods, which are little creatures populating the Apeiron gaming universe.
The game adopts a tri-token architecture: Apeiros is its governance token, Anima is its play-to-earn token for individuals, and Ringularity is its play-to-earn token for groups.
