It looks like the year is ramping up to full speed. It has certainly kept us busy in the newsroom – there are so many stories to tell, and we could certainly use more time and resources.

But we’re trying our best. One of my favorite articles last week was on whether scooter-sharing is another tech bubble or the real deal.

There’s a lot of skepticism about these startups it seems, but the founders are making their case that the unit economics will work out and that they’re avoiding a subsidies war.

I also enjoyed our profile of Byju’s – the world’s most valuable edtech company. Education tech rarely gets the spotlight in the media, but Byju’s has managed to build a valuable – and profitable – business.
