The renewed HungryGoWhere will focus on food reviews and recommendations. The platform will also feature profile interviews and behind-the-scenes stories of up-and-coming personalities and the origins of popular foods.

The F&B firm will be able to take advantage of Grab’s data, including food trends and popular places in Singapore. The super app also said that it will help brands on HungryGoWhere gain more visibility by featuring their stories on the Grab app and other marketing channels.

“HungryGoWhere is a brand that many Singaporeans have grown to love since its inception more than a decade ago and many were sad to see it go. We feel privileged and excited to be bringing back its longstanding legacy, while aiming to take it to the next level with this rebrand,” said Cifer Ong, managing director of strategy and partnerships at Grab Singapore.

Founded in 2006, HungryGoWhere was one of Singapore’s most well-known food platforms. The company was then acquired by telecommunications giant Singtel in 2012. However, the platform struggled to stay relevant before announcing its closure in July 2021.
