Employee management platform bags $6.6m from MassMutual Ventures, others
Singapore-based GajiGesa, an employee management platform that offers earned wage access (EWA) services, has raised US$6.6 million in a pre-series A funding round led by MassMutual Ventures.
London-based EWA platform Wagestream and Northstar Group partner Patrick Walujo also participated in the round.

GajiGesa’s platform helps companies manage their workforce and cash flow. Employees of these firms can also use the platform to improve their financial health along with other benefits like getting access to withdraw their earned salary ahead of the traditional month-end pay cycle.
The fintech firm was founded by former Standard Chartered Bank product lead Martyna Malinowska and former Carro chief operating officer Vidit Agrawal in mid 2020.
So far, GajiGesa has partnered with 120 employers in Indonesia and served hundreds of thousands of their employees, the company said. The firm’s employee management solution, GajiTim, currently serves more than 200,000 users.
Earlier this year, the company raised US$2.5 million in a seed round that was co-led by Silicon Valley’s Defy and early-stage VC firm Quest Ventures. It currently has 50 people on its team.
