Funding roundup from India: itโs all about how people are spending their money

Indiaโs got a lot of venture capital money flowing in. Today, with the action that ecommerce, payment wallets, and unsecured loans startups are getting, itโs all about how people are spending their money.
Hereโs todayโs funding roundup:
Nykaa
Beauty and wellness ecommerce site Nykaa has raised US$9.5 million in a series B round led by the TVS Shriram Growth Fund. Other investors include Techpro Ventures and the family office of Atul Nishar and Harsh Mariwala.
IndiaLends
IndiaLends has raised a bridge round of US$1 million from existing investors. The round was led by Singapore-based DSG Consumer Partners. IndiaLends provides unsecured loans to help individuals and small businesses who would otherwise not be eligible.
Chillr
Money transfer app Chillr raised US$6 million in a series A round led by Sequoia Capital. The app allows people to transfer money to contacts in their phone books.
Voylla
Voylla, a fashion jewelry and accessories ecommerce site, has raised US$15 million from private equity firm Peepul Capital. It plans to use this latest funding to expand its offline presence and create 100 franchised and shop-in-stop stores.
