Final Fantasy VI is finally on Android

The long awaited Final Fantasy VI is finally on Android devices for $15.99. Although Square typically releases its games on iOS first, FFVI has broken tradition and can now be found on the Google Play store. Apple lovers, fear not; although no iOS release date has been announced, a version for your iPhone has been promised. You will just have to wait a bit longer.

FFVI has been a cult favorite ever since it hit the SNES in 1994. At that time it was known as Final Fantasy III in North America, but as time progressed and the game was released on other platforms, the name Final Fantasy VI was universally adopted.

This Android adaptation resembles the 2007 Game Boy Advance remake. You won’t find any new additions to the game, but if you want to replay this classic game you can now do it on your phone. That is, if you have an Android device. Be sure to hit up Google Play and start playing through FFVI now.
