”Social commerce platform Meesho has filed criminal complaints against fraudulent users who have sent unconsented orders to their customers,” the Economic Times reported, citing a tweet by co-founder Vidit Aatrey.

- Meesho said that these unauthorized orders made up only 0.01% of its total daily order volume.
- The social commerce startup said it will enforce backend measures to ensure such orders are not placed in the future.
