Hello reader,
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “Health is wealth.” Well, looking at today’s funding numbers, it seems investors and founders may be taking it quite literally. Three of the five companies on our list of the biggest deals are in the healthtech space, specializing in areas such as preventative healthcare and minimally invasive treatment options.
I guess this isn’t surprising, considering what the saying really means. True enough, all the money in the world doesn’t mean much if your health is in decline. You may afford the best doctors and the most comfortable hospital room, but money can only do so much when some horrible disease is ravaging you from the inside out.
On that note, stay healthy, folks!
