The company will use the new capital to launch its product in Southeast Asia this year, starting with South Korea. It will also set up a Singapore office and expand its partnerships with ecommerce companies in the region.
So far, Terra’s ecommerce partners include South Korea’s Ticket Monster and Singapore’s Qoo10 and Carousell, among others.
In February, the startup announced a strategic investment from Kakao Ventures, the investment arm of South Korean internet giant Kakao. It raised US$32 million in seed funding in 2018 from prominent investors.
