As part of the deal, which was completed in 2018, FindUniversity will update its website to include a new logo and homepage, as well as implement access to tools and content on Edukasyon’s website.
The online directory offers more than 20,000 academic programs from over 900 institutions, which will be added to Edukasyon’s catalog of 20,000 courses from 13,000 schools and 500 institutions.
“FindUniversity’s legacy product and wealth of analytics are complementary to Edukasyon’s innovative technology and engagement mediums,” said Jason Townes French, Edukasyon’s chief technology officer. He adds that the two companies are looking forward to “building continued improvements to both platforms.”
Edukasyon, which aims to help the Filipino youth in their education and career choices, recently closed a funding round led by Gobi-Core, a venture fund formed by Shanghai-based Gobi Partners and Manila-based Core Capital.
