Ecommerce SaaS firm banks $1.4m in a round led by UK’s SuperSeed

Founded in 2019, Techsembly provides businesses with a marketplace solution that helps them maintain global brand consistency while remaining adaptable and relevant to the needs of local audiences.

The Singapore-based firm’s technology includes multi-language options, in-depth personalization, multi-base currencies, and unique fulfillment and logistics solutions, as well as multiple payment gateways and payout methods.

It plans to use the new funds to expand its marketing and sales efforts, scale its tech, and build more self-serve solutions. The company also said it aims to build a cross-marketing team that will initially target the UK, European, and Asian markets in order to grow its client base.

“Our ambition is to empower brands to build a truly impactful localization strategy from the start, not as an afterthought,” said Techsembly CEO and co-founder Amy Read.

To date, Techsembly claims its clients have seen an increase of up to 70% when selling overseas through the localization of their platforms. These include brands such as Curate Beauty, Scots of the World, The Peninsula Hotels, and Not Just a Label.
