India’s Money View nears unicorn status after banking $75m

Money View, an India-based fintech company, has raised US$75 million in a series E funding round led by Apis Partners, along with other investors including Tiger Global, Winter Capital, and Evolvence.

The company says it is now valued at US$900 million.

In an official announcement, Money View said it would use the fresh funds to scale its core credit business, grow its team, and expand its product portfolio with services such as digital bank accounts, insurance, and wealth management solutions.

Founded in 2014 by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, Money View offers personalized credit products such as instant personal loans, cards, as well as BNPL and personal financial management solutions.

The firm said it is disbursing about US$1.2 billion in loans at an annual run rate and managing over US$800 million. According to the company, it has been profitable for the past two years.

Money View has raised a total of US$183.7 million in funding to date, according to Crunchbase.
