League of Legends in China is full of action right now. In between Tencent’s League of Legends Pro League (LPL), the Demacia Cup, and the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Shenzhen, there’s also an exciting little corner where the League of Legends Secondary Pro League (LSPL) teams are making a bit of ruckus every week.

With 16 teams, it’s hard to follow everything going on in the LSPL. Instead, here are the top five LSPL teams you should definitely get to know:
King
King has an interesting history. The original team actually failed to qualify for the LSPL Summer split, but was squeezed in when another team (Titan Catipay) disbanded. Management then took full advantage of that chance by completely replacing the whole roster, which clearly helped since right now, King is at the top of the standings.
Energy Pacemaker (EP)
Although Energy Pacemaker was demoted to the LSPL this season, the former LPL team is showing its experience by being on top of the LSPL standings. The original LPL roster has been mostly untouched (with only a change in the support position after Laopi left for Star Horn Royal Club), so expect EP to very possibly return to the LPL next season.
