Restaurant integrator scoops up $7.6m in funding
Esensi Solusi Buana (ESB), an Indonesian restaurant management company, has raised US$7.6 million in its latest funding round.

- ESB processes more than 40 million orders annually for over 500 food and beverage brands, including major firms such as Map Boga Adiperkasa, Boga Group, Ismaya Group, Sour Sally Group, and Marugame Udon.
- ESB will use the fresh funds to expand its offerings, which would include upselling features, and advance its business solutions and systems to become an end-to-end operational system provider.
- The Indonesian firm has recorded a threefold growth in its revenue and user base during the pandemic, thanks to a feature it offers that allows contactless booking requests. In the last twelve months, the company has clocked a gross transaction value of more than US$500 million – a figure it expects will grow 10x in the next two years.
- In early 2021, ESB bagged US$3 million from Beenext, AC Ventures, Skystar Capital, and Selera Kapital in its Series A round.
