Hello reader,
I’m the kind of writer who can be a bit of a nerd about their work. Left to my own devices, I tend to obsess over word choices, turns of phrase, and all of that minutiae.
This means that, when I first joined the working world, I’d usually focus my energies on the wrong things. I eventually learned that since selling drives this field, simplicity sometimes wins over sophistication.
One of this week’s Thoughtful Tidbits touches on that. Most startup founders fixate on their product or the tech behind it, not realizing that selling an innovation is just as important as developing it.
Hopefully, you can pick up some lessons from that article and the other Tidbits.
