BillionBricks
Housing
BillionBricks builds sustainable housing solutions that create more energy than they consume, serving lower-income communities. Founded in 2013 by Prasoon Kumar, the company initially launched an emergency shelter called WeatherHYDE, before coming up with the BillionBricks home, a housing unit that comes equipped with solar panels. This has helped it to provide sustainable, eco-friendly, and affordable homes, launching the first few projects in the Philippines.
