Hello readers,

It’s an extremely busy time of the year. There’s something new to deal with every day, and it’s all I can do to keep up. That said, I’ve made it a priority to have some balance in my life: I’ve maintained my six-month-long streak of exercising a minimum of five days a week, set aside time for my loved ones, and sneaked in some gaming every now and then, too.

The point is, life is all about having a little bit of everything. And that’s the case as well with this week’s top funding deals, which run the gamut from chip developers to sports technology and even a furniture subscription service.

You can find all other important investment deals that happened in the last few days in our weekly funding news wrap-up.

Here are the biggest deals that have taken place recently.

The biggest deals by country

🇨🇳 MiFavor: Chip developer MiFavor bagged US$343 million from ZTE.

🇮🇳 Dream11: Sports technology company Dream11 secured US$225 million from ChrysCapital, Footpath Ventures, TPG Capital, and Tiger Global Management.

🇸🇬 Grab: Southeast Asian unicorn Grab received US$200 million from STIC Investments.

🇮🇱 Orasis Pharmaceuticals: The company is developing a corrective eye drop to treat presbyopia as an alternative to reading glasses. Orasis Pharmaceuticals raised a US$30 million series C round from investors including Bluestem Capital, LifeSci Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and others.
