The Guild Wars 2: Battle for Lion’s Arch update is live as of today and will finally provide players the opportunity to fight against season one’s big bad Scarlet Briar.
Battle for Lion’s Arch serves as the season finale for Guild Wars 2’s living world narrative. You can now head back to Lion’s Arch and fight against Scarlet’s minions in order to take back the ruined city from her clutches.
If you can make it within her ship and take down her champions, you will be rewarded with special event rifle skins and upgraded equipment for your Tempered Spinal Blades. You can also earn crafting materials and items from previous patches that weren’t available in the market until today.
With the release we also learned that there will be a short epilogue that will recap everything that happened in season one that will be available on March 18, 2014.
