1. el Grocer | Dubai (Startup Profile)

el Grocer exists as an app-only marketplace for fresh groceries. Through el Grocer’s app, users can connect with grocers in their vicinity and receive their items in 60 minutes or less. Prices are the same as those advertised in-store.


2. Innovision | India

Innovision has produced a solution BrailleMe – a machine that plugs into mobile phones and computers to help the visually impaired access the internet and other digital content. It’s equipped with a tool to let people write in braille and have it appear in digital text, as well as one that converts digital text into raised bumps for readable braille.


3. Tripfez | Malaysia (Startup Profile)

Tripfez is an online travel agency that helps Muslim travelers discover, compare, and book hotels and tour services that fit their specific needs. It also operates Salam Standard, a new hospitality rating system for Muslim-friendly amenities and services that uses three categories: bronze, silver, and gold.


4. Get4x | Singapore (Startup Profile)

Get4x is a location-based exchange rate aggregator that allows users to compare the best rates offered by licensed money changers around them. It does so by providing live retail rates from exchange outlets directly rather than official rates used by banks.


5. Prepathon | India

Prepathon wants to personalize test preps with bots. Users of the app create a virtual classroom where a virtual coach responds to queries, provides motivation, and makes learning interactive.


6. Maderight | China (Startup Profile)

Shanghai-based Maderight is a startup aimed at grabbing apparel sourcing, production, and logistics by the collar and dragging it into the 21st century. The startup features digital tours of its factories on its website, and its client app features package tracker-esque updates and details about each shipment.
