1. Sociolla | Indonesia (Startup Profile)
Indonesia-based cosmetics and beauty ecommerce site Sociolla allows users to shop by brand or by department, under the categories of makeup, skincare, haircare, nails, bath and body, accessories, fragrances, and gifts.
2. Jugnoo | India (Startup Profile)
Jugnoo is an Uber-esque app for motorized rickshaws from India. The startup currently has three apps – Jugnoo Auto, Jugnoo Meals, and Jugnoo Fatafat. Together, they allow users to instantly hail auto rickshaws, order home-cooked meals, and get groceries delivered to their homes. All of the startup’s services are completed by auto rickshaws.
3. Arcstone | Singapore (Startup Profile)
Singapore-based Arcstone is a data analytics and operations startup for manufacturing plants. The company’s “Operations Platform” product, now in its second iteration, helps manufacturers monitor, maintain, and manage their equipment as well as the processes followed in the plant.
4. Lulio | Hong Kong (Startup Profile)
By analyzing teenagers’ mental health through mobile games, Hong Kong-based Lulio hopes to gather data that could spot warning signs of depression or even suicidal tendencies. The startup has been working with psychologists on their school pilot studies, and plans to launch its first games in February 2016.
5. Kaodim | Malaysia (Startup Profile)
Kaodim is a services marketplace. If users are in search of a plumber, a cleaner, or a wedding photographer, the startup can match you up with a corresponding provider. It’s a model similar to Thumbtack in the US, and it seems to be catching on in Southeast Asia.
6. ReplyAll | Israel (Startup Profile)
ReplyAll allows users to invite others to engage in a debate, exchange ideas, ruminate on life, and then publish the discussion on their site or social feeds.
