Bangalore-based NoBroker is a marketplace connecting house owners and tenants. It cuts off the traditional real estate agents and their fees, while also making the search for suitable accommodation and tenants more efficient with the use of technology.


2. Partyphile | Philippines (Startup Profile)

Philippine nightlife app Partyphile helps people discover Manila’s nightlife. Through the app, partygoers can get on the guest lists of all the top clubs in the capital, which means no more lining up or paying entrance fees. Tabs are deducted from users’ mobile credit or charged to their monthly phone bill.

MeraMedicare wants bring awareness and transparency into the system, and help users save on medical costs. The platform allows users to search for generic alternatives to brand-name medicines and buy them from the nearest chemist. It also supports reverse bidding of medicines from multiple pharmacies in the vicinity to help users get medicines at the best price. The goal is to

CanvasFlip is a cloud-based prototyping platform that allows users to create clickable demos of their app or website, make informed changes, and collaborate with others. It equips users with a set of intuitive tools to understand their prototypes better.


5. The Commissioned | Singapore and US

The Commissioned lets you commission original works of art at manageable prices from a selection of artists from all over the world. Users can browse through the available works, and if something catches their fancy, they can get in touch with the artist and commission a custom piece.


6. BottlesXO | China

Shanghai-based BottlesXO wants to quickly bring residents high quality wines for less-than-premium prices. The wine will show up at its proper serving temperature – the delivery bikes have refrigerated containers for whites – and with small plastic wine glasses as well. Upon request, the driver can uncork the bottle.
