East Ventures, Beenext lead seed round of Indonesian logistics firm
Biteship, an Indonesia-based logistics firm, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding in a round co-led by East Ventures and Beenext.

Founded by Mirsa Sadikin and Afra Sausan in 2019, Biteship helps SMEs and large companies deliver products to their customers. It creates an API that can connect users to third-party logistics (3PL) and warehouse providers.
The company said that it has helped thousands of businesses and partnered with more than 30 3PLs across the country. It recorded an 8x year-on-year revenue growth in the first quarter of 2022.
Biteship aims to leverage the country’s freight and logistics market, which was valued at US$81.3 billion in 2020 with an annual growth of 9.2%. It plans to use the fresh funding for product development and hiring purposes.
