Accelerating Asia names 10 startups in seventh cohort
Accelerating Asia, a Singapore-based early-stage venture capital fund, has announced the ten startups that will join the seventh cohort of its accelerator program.
The startups hail from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. The VC fund also saw participants from Thailand and South Korea, where the firm hasn’t invested before.

According to general partner Amra Naidoo, the firm received 600 applications for the seventh batch and could choose more mature startups. “The 10 startups we invested in this batch have more significant milestones in revenue and user acquisition,” she said.
Participants in this cohort each have an average gross merchandise value (GMV) of more than US$46,000 per month, and an average monthly revenue of over US$13,000. Before joining the program, the selected startups had cumulatively raised more than US$3.5 million in equity funding.

Here are the startups that made it to Accelerating Asia’s seventh cohort:
Cocotel
A Philippines-based proptech firm that helps independent hotels and resorts manage their properties.
Hishabee
A Bangladesh-based startup that helps small businesses sell their products online. It currently has more than 100,000 users.
K-link
A startup that offers a cloud-based platform to help brands manage their call center services. The startup is based in Myanmar and Thailand.
Kooky.io
A South Korea-based company that helps connect superfans with K-pop artists.
Safe Truck
A Malaysia-based fleet management firm allows trucking companies to collect telematics data and route analysis.
Shoplinks
A Singapore-based customer loyalty startup offering personalized promotions to shoppers.
Easy Rice Digital Technology
A Thailand-based foodtech startup that aids in improving speed, hygiene, and affordability of staple food supply chains.
