Accelerating Asia, an early-stage startup enabler based in Singapore, is set to graduate eight startups from the ninth cohort of its 100-day accelerator program.

These startups come from Singapore, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Japan, with the latter two being new markets for Accelerating Asia. They operate in industries such as AI, edtech, fintech, and greentech.

The eight companies, which were selected from over 1,000 applicants, collectively raised US$19.1 million in the past year, with an average valuation of US$9.1 million.

Throughout the program, they received master classes, mentoring sessions, and a one-week retreat in Bali, among others. The program will conclude with a demo day on January 31, where the firms will pitch to investors from around the world.

Since its launch, Accelerating Asia has backed 77 pre-series A startups across Southeast and South Asia.
