Tech in Asia meetup Singapore: Come with a problem, leave with a solution

Here’s a collage showing our lovely TIA community folks, who took the time and effort to connect with each other across the world.

Ohai, we are bringing back our long-awaited Tech in Asia (TIA) meetup!

The mission at TIA is all about building and serving Asia’s tech ecosystem and connecting people in the community is something we look closely into.

Anyone who is passionate about the tech community is free to join. You can be a developer, student, investor, designer, founder and the list goes on.

Finger food and drinks are provided. We are capping the meetup to the first 35 awesome folks only so sign up quick if you’re interested.

Date: 14 June 2016 (Tuesday)
Location: TechCircle (#05-03 Raffles City Tower)
Agenda:

• 6:30pm: arrive, fill your tummy and grab a drink (or two)
• 7:00pm: brief intro about TIA community
• 7:10pm: semi-facilitated networking session, share problems
• 7:50pm: back to mingling with your interesting new friends
• 8:30pm: go home contented

Floor is open to anyone to make announcements after 7.50pm. E.g. looking to hire, finding tech co-founders, sharing your startup idea, asking for connections. Just let me know!

The meetup will be done in a semi-facilitated networking session, and the community team will be there to help make connections happen.

Come prepared

The community magic happens primarily online — on our platform and curated Facebook group, but we want to translate all that’s happening online to meaningful connections in person.

Come prepared with two things in mind:

1. a problem you’d wish to seek help for
2. the willingness to offer solutions or advice to others.

This way, you aim to leave the session having helped a fellow attendee(s) and benefited from another’s advice or connection yourself.
