Singapore IoT firm secures $25m in series B extension
UnaBiz, a Singapore-based IoT service provider, has raised US$25 million in an extension of its series B funding round. It was led by Japan-based investment firm Sparx Group and saw participation from G K Goh Holdings and Optimal Investment.
Combined with the initial series B investment of over US$25 million that it secured last year, UnaBiz closed the round at around US$50 million.

The startup helps companies design, manufacture, and manage the connectivity and data platform services of IoT solutions.
Established by Henri Bong and Philippe Chiu in 2016, UnaBiz currently has sales offices in Tokyo, Paris, Madrid, and Rotterdam, as well as research centers in Taiwan and France. It has over 240 employees.

The firm plans to use the fresh funding for sales and research purposes.
Earlier this year, UnaBiz acquired France-based IoT firm Sigfox, which connects more than 10 million sensors for 1,500 companies through its 0G network.
