Online Panel: Ask our panelists anything about Indonesia

If you’ve been following us at Tech In Asia, you’ll know that we’ve been hosting interesting figures in Asia’s startup ecosystem with our Ask Me Anything series. And we also want to expand on this series with an online panel.
Today, we’re lucky to have an online panel featuring everyone in Southeast Asia’s favorite topic: Indonesia. The lineup today includes:
Yiping Goh, CEO and co-founder of All Deals Asia – She’s obviously an expert on daily deals, but she’s also now one of the key team members of MatahariMall, Indonesia’s new ecommerce juggernaut, and pet project of one of Indonesia’s richest families.
Peng Ong, cofounder of Match.com and partner at Monk’s Hill Ventures – Peng just recently moved his offices to Jakarta and equipped with a US$80 million fund, his fund is keen on seriously tackling Indonesia in a big way.
Teddy Himler, Vice President of SoftBank China & India Holdings – Teddy is new to Asia, having worked in Softbank in Silicon Valley since 2013. He’s the main key person in Softbank in Indonesia, but brings a Valley perspective to understanding Southeast Asia’s biggest market.
Feel free to ask our panelists in the comments about their perspectives on:
- Opening up a new office in Indonesia
- The peculiarities of Indonesia’s tech market
- Developing a team in Indonesia
- Investment opportunities in Indonesia
- Anything else you want to ask about Indonesia… 🙂
