1. Appota | Vietnam
Founded in 2011, Appota is a mobile app delivery platform that serves as a medium between app developers and smartphone users – and aims to get the general public to pay up for their apps.
2. Guanxi.me | China
Chinese startup Guanxi.me is a Momo and Skout-like location-based dating and chat app. Back in October last year, the startup received series A funding from Singtel Innov8. This week the startup came up with a funny music video about the dangers of modern day dating – see the video in the post.
3. Jooix | Singapore
Launched in 2011, Singapore’s Jooix is a highly-curated fashion/beauty e-commerce startup which announced this week that it successfully raised a round of funding from Beacon New Ventures.
4. OgahMahal | Indonesia
While many people in Indonesia are still reluctant to purchase sexy lingerie from brick-and-mortar shops, OgahMahal, a one-month-old specialist online store that sells only lingerie, steps in to provide consumers a more convenient avenue for alluring attire.
5. Medeel | India
Indian startup Medeel is a useful online platform that lets patients submit their medical records to multiple hospitals and solicit bids for their treatment options online.
6. Scoop | Indonesia
Scoop is an Indonesian e-reader startup and book webstore that has just announced a major new distribution partnership with arguably Indonesia’s number one national newspaper, Kompas.
