Cloud Data Engineer - Banking

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer, Data Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related role.
• Experience working in Banking / Financial Services is mandatory
• Strong experience in Cloud Engineering, particularly in designing and managing cloud-based data solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially: Google Cloud Composer BigQuery Apache Airflow
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in data pipeline development and orchestration using Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Proficient in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and data manipulation.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data pipeline architecture.
• Familiar with cloud-based data warehouse concepts and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
