TSMC shares drop after $100b US investment announcement
Shares of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) declined by 2.25% on Mar. 4 after the company revealed plans for a US$100 billion investment in the United States.
This announcement followed a meeting between TSMC CEO C.C. Wei and US President Donald Trump at the White House on March, 3.
TSMC is recognized as the largest contract chipmaker globally.
