Bill Ford, CEO of General Atlantic and a member of ByteDance’s board, said that a resolution regarding TikTok’s availability in the United States is expected soon.

President Trump provided a 75-day timeframe for negotiations to mitigate national security concerns.

When asked about the likelihood of a successful deal, Ford remarked, “Yes, it’s in everybody’s interest.”

He indicated that negotiations, involving the US and Chinese governments as well as ByteDance, could commence by the week’s end.

Ford noted that potential solutions might not necessarily require TikTok’s divestiture.
