As announced at last year’s E3, Yoshi’s getting a whole new adventure for the 3DS, and it’s finally dated for Spring 2014. This marks the 3rd game in the Yoshi Island series since the 1995 SNES hit, and Yoshi’s New Island seems to have kept the charm that first made us fall in love with Yoshi to begin with. The game still features its cutesy art styling and is being produced by Takashi Tezuka, the creative director of the original.
As you can see from the pictures, Yoshi will be toting around baby Mario on his new adventure, and will have a whole new set of abilities and eggs. Whether you are a fan of the original, Yoshi, or platformers in general, you are going to want to keep your eye out for this one come Spring 2014.
