Kyna, a Vitenam-based edtech company, today announced it’s raised an undisclosed amount of funding from CyberAgent Capital, SEAF Women’s Opportunity Fund, and others.
Founded in 2013, Kyna provides e-learning solutions for adults and children. This includes Kyna.vn, which allows adults to take online short courses on topics like finance, foreign languages, and parenting. It also created Kynaforkids, which offers English and Math online courses for children ages 5 to 12 years old.

The company will use the fresh funding to develop Kynaforkids tech infrastructure and user experience, and expand its market share. So far, the company claims Kynaforkids has attracted over 150,000 paying customers.
This marks the second time CyberAgent has invested in Kyna. The Japanese VC has also backed other Vietnamese startups this month including WeFit, Jamja, and TheBank.vn.
