Nijibox Launches ‘Costume Fantasia’ on Mig33, First Japanese Social Game Developer on the Platform

We have written much about gaming platform Mig33 in the past, and its success as a gaming platform in Southeast Asia with over 56 million registered users. And today we were interested to hear that Tokyo-based game publisher Nijibox has announced the global release of its Costume Fantasia game on the platform. Nijibox tells us that this is the first time that a Japanese social game developer has published on Mig33.
The title is a free-to-play card game for feature phones, which is described by the company thusly:
Set in the near future where women’s beauty is put before all else, the mysterious costume beauty institute named “Costume King” has risen in a quest to conquer the world! Join the “Cos-child” organization to free the beautiful ladies from the Institute and save the world!
Nijibox, which is 100 percent owned by Recruit, is looking to expand its reach to the USA and Southeast Asia, actively seeking local business partners. The company claims 2.2 million users and 630 thousand active users per month.
