Xiaomi, plagued by worries that its smartphones sales are about to come crashing down, is about to take flight with a drone.
The Chinese company this morning set a May 25 date to reveal the “Xiaomi Drone,” accompanied by the teaser image you see below posted to its official Weibo account. The launch will be streamed online at 7 pm Beijing time. Hat-tip to AndroidCentral for spotting this.

China’s DJI, which makes high-end drones starting from US$500, could be about to clash with a major new rival if the phone maker gives its first drone a strong camera.
