India-based ecommerce firm CityMall banks $11m in Accel-led round
India-based ecommerce and online grocery platform CityMall announced it has raised US$11 million in its latest round of funding.

- CityMall will use the new funds to bolster its supply chain and logistics network as well as expand its footprint to 20 new cities in India’s Tier 2, 3, and 4 areas.
- It also aims to increase its network of community leaders to over 200,000 and match that figure for customers by 2022.
- Founded in 2019, CityMall is a community commerce platform designed for small cities, towns, and villages in India for everyday use products like grocery, fast-moving consumer goods, fresh produce, and home- and kitchen-related products.
