Xendit shares its secret to success

As the first Indonesian company to get accepted into the fabled Y Combinator accelerator program, it’s no secret why payment gateway firm Xendit has been dubbed “the Stripe of Southeast Asia.”

According to Tech in Asia data, the company has raised over US$500 million in disclosed funding to date. On top of that, the platform recorded more than 200 million transactions over the last year, with a whopping US$15 billion in total payments value.

After its capital injection earlier this year, Xendit is eyeing to expand in Southeast Asia – specifically in Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

If you’re curious about the payment gateway firm’s secret to success, you’re in luck. Xendit co-founder and COO Tessa Wijaya will join fellow fintech founders – YouTrip’s Caecilia Chu and 2C2P’s Anug Kyaw Moe – in a panel discussion moderated by Square Peg Capital partner Piruze Sabuncu. The event will shed light on what it takes to build a Southeast Asian fintech giant. Catch the session on Thursday, September 22, at 1:30 p.m. SGT.
