Pardo, who previously founded regional logistics firm Xend, will be bringing his own experience in building startups to AHG Lab.
He will also be spearheading the venture builder’s push into “proptech+” – which Pardo explained is the use of proptech solutions to address the needs of surrounding communities in addition to the needs of real estate stakeholders.
“The original thought was strictly proptech, focusing primarily on property owners and tenants,” said Pardo in a statement. However, the founder said they saw opportunities in similar spaces such as co-working, co-living, and tourism.
Pardo launched AHG Lab alongside Revianne Sesante, Jesehl Charles Basco, Marcel Visser, and Mark Kooijman. The CEO said that the venture builder is currently working with over 10 startups, with more in the pipeline.
