Xbox One is coming to Japan, Korea, and Singapore, but not anytime soon

The Playstation 4 has been available throughout Asia for months now, but what about the Xbox One? After a recent posting on Amazon, there has been a lot of speculation as to when the Xbox One would finally make its Japanese debut, but what about the rest of Asia? Most assumed that the Xbox One would start making its way into Asia later this spring, but last night Microsoft laid those claims to rest.

Last night, Microsoft announced in a blog post on Xbox Wire that the Xbox One would be released in 26 new countries in September. Included in these 26 countries are Japan, Korea, and Singapore. The post did not give any details on expected launch titles or even what day exactly the Xbox One would be available, but they did say that there would be more to share later in April.
