Psigen develops business process automation and solutions such as quote to cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Based in the US, the company offers its products via different licensing models sold through more than 800 authorized resellers across North America and other regions.

Kofax said it plans to continue selling, developing, and supporting Psigen’s offerings after the acquisition. Kofax has 14 locations worldwide, with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Indonesia.

“This acquisition adds to our existing document capture software and solutions,” said Kofax CEO Reynolds Bish in a press release. “[It] further extends our leadership position in the capture market, adds content management software and solutions to our product portfolio, increases our customer and partner ecosystem, and enhances our intelligent automation platform.”

Similarly, Psigen founder and CEO Bruce Hensley said the firm will be able to leverage Kofax’s wider reach and larger resource pools to provide a broader range of digital workflow transformation solutions.
