“Edtech firm WhiteHat Jr on Tuesday announced a collaborative partnership with satellite company EnduroSat, a move that will facilitate applied science opportunities for students,” The Economic Times reported.
Details:
- The tie-up would allow students to access data from and send commands to an orbiting satellite.
- As part of the partnership, a satellite, which is scheduled to launch in December this year, will contain a payload dedicated to WhiteHat Jr and its students. Another satellite will be available on a trial basis, set to launch in June this year.
Context:
- Founded in 2018, WhiteHat Jr offers a coding and math platform designed for children.
- The startup claims to have over 175,000 students on its platform and an 11,000-strong team of teachers.
