Money Forward leads $18m series D round of Indonesian SaaS firm Mekari
Mekari, an Indonesia-based software-as-a-service platform, just raised US$18 million in its latest funding round, the company’s chief executive Suwandi Soh told Tech in Asia.

- Mekari will use the funds to accelerate product development and grow its product and engineering team.
- Besides its main human resources, accounting, and tax processing products, the company also launched Mekari Chat, a communications platform integrated with its HR system and employee benefit solution Mekari Flex.
- According to Soh, Mekari is also actively looking for M&A opportunities in the Indonesian SaaS sector.
- While SMEs are its primary market, Mekari also approaches enterprise customers. Currently, there are over 20 public companies that use its products.
