Undead Slayer Extreme (Android)
by NHN Entertainment

In a review I wrote this week, I said Undead Slayer Extreme is a game I would take time to sit down and play. I did end up keeping it installed and played it occasionally this week primarily because I like action RPGs. It can be quite frustrating fighting bosses especially when both of us are about to die and I dodge a millisecond too late, but that’s actually one of the fun things about it. I found myself playing this game when I needed a break or when I randomly awoke during the witching hours of the morning. It’s not exactly the game I’d recommend if you want to relax and fall asleep, though.

Mcdonald’s Videogame (Browser)
by Molle Industria
This game is ancient in Internet-time, having been released as a flash browser game in 2006, but it’s still pretty relevant. This adorable little sim walks you through the daily operations of fast food giant Mcdonald’s, from clearing of old-growth forest and ancient tribes for your soy and pasture fields, to bribing politicians and nutritionists to keep public opinion about your restaurant high. Oh, and you can also feed your cows industrial waste and growth hormones! How’s that for realistic? You can try this one out here.
