1. Z-Works | Japan

Z-Works is a startup focused on creating devices that can monitor loved ones and keep families close. As privacy is a concern in Japan, there were no camera functions in the startup’s gadgets but it has a combination of sensors and a mobile app.


2. 90seconds | Singapore

90 Seconds is a a service that aims to make the entire video production workflow – from getting a price quote to publishing a video – seamless. It combines an online marketplace for video production talent and a complete workflow management tool.


3. Paymax | China

Paymax offers loans for purchases to the kinds of people in China who would not get credit through conventional channels – folks like construction workers, security guards, and store staff. The startup ties up with offline retailers to persuade shoppers to use its service to pay in chunks – with interest.


4. Dyad | China

Previously known as ChaseFuture, Dyad offers college admissions guidance for Chinese students looking to study abroad. Instead of pumping out application essays a month before the deadline, Dyad works with students for months or even years, getting them prepared for the college application process.


5. PicMix | Indonesia (Startup Profile)

PicMix offers users a range of photo and video editing and social sharing features. There’s a community component through which users connect with each other, discover content and things to buy, or participate in contests.


6. Coverfox | India (Startup Profile)

Insurance portal Coverfox allows users to compare policies from top insurance brands in one go and then buy a policy online.
