Lady Gaga Greets Indonesia on YouTube

Update: The video was produced by Yahoo Indonesia. The Indonesian version of Yahoo OMG site is what Lady Gaga is referring to in the video. Hat tip: April (see comments)

lady-gaga-indonesiaIndonesia is a huge Twitter nation and Lady Gaga apparently knows that too. “I always see your very sweet Twitter messages to me to come to Indonesia and I promise I will be coming there soon…”

According to Jakarta Globe, Lady Gaga skipped Indonesia on her recently completed Asian tour and took this video (below) in Singapore after seeing the huge response from Indonesia.

The video was a response to greet and thank Indonesian fans for their support. And of course to reassure fans that she will be coming over to Indonesia soon.

In the very same video, Lady Gaga also asked Indonesian fans to visit Yahoo OMG to catch her latest movement. I’m not sure if Lady Gaga knows but most Indonesians don’t exactly read English.

Perhaps it is time for Lady Gaga to set up an Indonesian written site to keep fans engaged. I made a quick check on Google but can’t seem to find an alternative source for Lady Gaga news in Indonesian. If there are let us know. Otherwise, it just might be a sound business idea to produce Lady Gaga related content in Indonesian. That would bring quite some web traffic, I believe.
